the description speaks for itself; there’s not much to the plot other than what’s given above.
i enjoyed madeliefie’s other book, “gold and silver” so much that i though i’d give this one a shot. needless to say, i didn't like it as much; however, i wasn't completely disappointed . the premise was good and their writing overall is good too. i just felt that with only 8k words, it was too short and it was rushed at the end. i’m a sucker for 70k-100k books, but that's just my opinion.
