i’m back with another thestarsabove fic!! this one is considerably shorter than the others i’ve recommended, with the exception of one, but just as good!
taehyung has had a crush on jeongguk for the longest time, but jeongguk’s never seen him as anything more than a friend. when taehyung gets the incredible opportunity to study marine biology in america, he takes it; unfortunately, he’ll have to miss jeongguk’s birthday party. unbeknownst to taehyung though, while he’s gone, jeongguk learns of his best friend’s harbored feelings towards him all thanks to a not-so-careful-with-his-words hoseok.
in his time away, jeongguk begins to reciprocate said feelings and waits eagerly for taehyung’s return. however, when the time comes for taehyung to come back and jeongguk drives to the airport to meet him, jeongguk notices
he’s not alone.
“(even at my worst) i’m best with you” is a fic of a lot of unfortunate timing to say the least😅 that itself though just makes for such a fun story to read! i can’t say this was my favorite story by thestarsabove but it definitely hooked me like all the rest of their books as well:)
if you’re wanting to try her books (i highly recommend them!) but you don’t want to read something super long, i suggest this one or “fever started long ago” which i have linked + recommended a few posts below this one.
