are we really surprised i’m back reviewing another thestarsabove book?? no.
in actually writing this just minutes after finishing it, which isn’t something i usually do. i just felt that the urge to write this right away bc it was so good🥰
like all their other books, thestarsabove manages to turn simple fanfiction plots into full-blown masterpieces. i’ll just put it this way: i hate baseball, but this book has made me want to start watching it.
taekook’s story in the beginning is filled with a multitude of fluff and their first interactions are just adorable to say the least. one thing i loved about this book too is that that aspect of the book isn’t lost as it progresses.
overall, this book has a great portion of fluff, smut (for those of you who are into that), and of course angst.
i also thought that this story was to praise especially as it brings up the topic of trauma quite a few times and the author wrote it well to the point where it wasn’t overly drawn out and dramatic, but readers could feel the power just mere memories had over the characters and how their personalities were shaped because of it. subtle, but yet simultaneously very prominent.
if you get the chance to read this, i definitely would recommend u do:) if you like taekook fics even the slightest bit, you’ll love this.
